We are thrilled to report that our email issues that began around August 13 have been resolved. If you have emailed us and didn’t get a reply your message may have been lost in cyberspace so please email us again.
August 16, 2020. We are currently experiencing problems sending and receiving emails. Some emails being sent to us are being “bounced back” to the send and marked as “undeliverable”. Our IT people are working on the problem and we hope to have the issue correctly shortly. In the meantime if you have emailed us and not received a reply you may want to call or even (gasp) fax us at 604 233-1942. When our email issues are corrected we will delete this message.
As BC moves into Phase 2 of the Covid-19 situation more and more businesses are either open or planning to reopen and we are planning on being there for you. We have been revising our training course safety systems and hope to resume open enrollment (ie: regularly scheduled) courses in our Richmond offices, beginning June 24, 2020 with our Fundamentals for Joint Health and Safety Committees Course. We will be taking extensive safety measures to protect our clients and staff. For example we will be reducing the size of each course from 16 to 8 people to allow for social distancing. We will be doing extensive disinfecting in the training room , washroom and other areas, provide hand sanitizer, have face masks available for any and all, utilize lexan barriers (where appropriate), and more. Watch this space for more information.
In the interests of protecting our clients, trainers and our own staff, we are suspending all training courses both scheduled and on-site, for the duration of the coronavirus (COVID-19) situation. We expect most attendees will want to reschedule once gatherings are safe again, but refunds will be available for those who have pre-paid for their training and choose not to reschedule. Please be aware that the recent cancelling of the 2020 Western Conference on Safety and the significant number refunds required for it, is slowing the overall refund process so delays should be anticipated. More information will be posted as the situation progresses.
At 3:45pm today, March 12, 2020, The British Columbia Provincial Health Officer, Dr. Bonnie Henry and the Provincial Health Minister Adrian Dix, directed that all gatherings of more than 250 people be canceled. The 2020 Western Conference on Safety is a gathering of over 1100 people. Accordingly, and as directed, the 2020 Western Conference on Safety (including its post conference courses) is now cancelled.
Full refunds will be issued to everyone who has paid a conference delegate registration, or a tradeshow booth, or a sponsorship fee to the Pacific Safety Center Ltd to participate in the 2020 Western Conference on Safety.
More information on this will be posted shortly.
