In answer to your calls and inquiries, YES there is still lots of space available to register for the conference. Registrations are flowing in faster than ever but there are still nearly 400 seats available as of today. The big rush of registrations will take place around March 15 and if the current trend continues then we anticipate selling out around that date.
Wow, the 2024 Western Conference on Safety is off to a roaring start. Normally an average of 135 people would have registered by this date, but as of today (Feb. 1/24) we have just over 280 registrations! People are coming from all over Canada including BC, Alberta, Saskatchewan, Yukon, Ontario and the North West Territories. The last 9 conferences in a row sold out so if you are planning on registering you do so earlier than later so you have to suffer from FOMO (Fear of Missing Out). The dates for the 2024 BC Safety Committee Course have now been set. It will run Tuesday October 22 with optional post conference courses running on Wednesday October 23. Designed to fit with WorkSafeBC’s mandatory annual safety committee training regulation, 2024 will reflect a renewed focus on knowledge and skills specifically aimed at the responsibilities, tasks and duties of Safety Committee members and will reflect todays changing regulatory environment.
