We know just how difficult it
is to find good safety trainers at a reasonable price.
We specialize in providing highly experiences
occupational safety experts with proven adult training
skills. Why? Too
many safety trainers either lack the real-world education and experience
needed or are weak, ineffective trainers.
OSH trainers booked through the Pacific Safety Center
are:
-
Experts in their specialized areas with at least 10 years of
OSH training experience.
- Great presenters. All have years of training experience and have
made successful and important presentations at regional and national
safety conferences and special events.
- Able to bring their expertise right to your door and relate what
they are teaching to your work processes and challenges.

Frequently Asked Questions:
What do
you mean by “On-Site
Training”?
Most safety training takes place
in a classroom or hotel in a central location. But on-site training
brings the training right to your door. Our trainer provides
the course your want, when and where you want it.
What type of facilities do
you need to put on a course at our site?
OSH courses need table(s) and
chairs for everyone, a projection screen (or lightly coloured
wall) and a flipchart or something similar. In most cases a normal
meeting room will do fine.
Please call us for more information on them.
Isn’t
it more expensive to have your trainer come to us?
No.
On-Site fees are are for each “course”,
not per person. In most cases you can train 12-24 people
in a course. Depending on the course, this can lower your cost
to $45 per person or less!
How many people do I need
to run a course?
Courses usually require a minimum
of 4 and can handle up to 24 people.
How Good Are Your
Trainers?
They are superb. Our work organizing
occupational safety conferences over the past decade has exposed
us to hundreds of occupational safety and corporate driving safety
trainers, allowing us to pick up the best of the best. They have
demonstrated to us their expertise AND their
training ability, two areas in which safety trainers must
excel and far too many others don’t.
Where Do You Offer These Courses?
On-Site courses are available throughout BC and Alberta. Travel within the greater Vancouver area is not charged. Travel outside the greater Vancouver area is not included in the course fee and is charged at cost. Our regularly scheduled courses are held at our offices located at 2158 – 20800 Westminster Highway Richmond BC.
How Do I Arrange For An On-Site
Course?
Call us at 604-233-1842 or
email us and
we’ll take care of all the details. One call does it all!
I hear that safety committee members are entitled to 8 hours of leave to take safety training. Is that true?
Under Workers Compensation Act: Part 3, Division 4, Section 135 Joint Health & Safety Committee members are entitled to 8 hours of annual paid educational in order to allow them to improve their occupational safety and health expertise. This leave is to be provided by the employer. For more information click here and see that actual legislation click here.
